VERSION|0.5.1|NAME|Tesh|DATE|1357560845|CONTENT|Had a quick skim through the text - no time to read it properly [yet]. Don't think that passage quoted accuses you of Islamophobia or Islamo-anything else but scepticism towards religion in general which seems to me fair enough. I agree this is one of the most civil sites about anything - sheer hatred and vitriol seems to reign supreme both on 'religious' and 'atheist' sites. Do you know the old joke that in the early days of Christianity onlookers said with true awe - "Lo, how these Christinas love one another". With the passing of the years/centuries the same expression was used but with very different intonation! I had a few weeks about 3 years ago when I explored blogs for the first time [had never even 'heard of them' - I couldn't understand why some newspapers were followed by comments and others not!] and I found I was frequently whispering it to myself - with that 2nd intonation!!
He's quoting somebody called Liz Fekete [no, I don't know either].
I l ooked up tolerance in an etymological dictionary some years ago andit was its roots in metallurgy that I found most interesting and productive of thought! Richardson doesn;t even mention it. |EMAIL|lornacrossman@yahoo.co.uk|IP-ADDRESS|86.172.174.99|MODERATIONFLAG|
