I don't think BA found the cross offensive, it simply broke the (then) rules of their uniform policy. IIRC, their "no jewellery" rule was regarded as a simple way to prevent chains, bangles etc getting caught in the luggage conveyors.

Anyone else told to remove their jewellery by their manager would simply have shrugged their shoulders and removed it, probably while muttering under their breath about "stupid rules" or something.

If this means that the religious now have a special right to advertise their beliefs, while others do not, then I certainly don't think it's a good thing. However, I'm not entirely sure how much of a precedent it sets.

Very good news that the others lost though.|IP-ADDRESS|94.168.119.214|MODERATIONFLAG|
