VERSION|0.5.1|NAME|Broga|DATE|1358626341|CONTENT|@Matt Westwood: The "sport of kings" involves whipping exhausted horses to the finishing post to the roar of a baying and merciless crowd and some of the top people - including royals. The Jockey Club refused to insist on lighter whips so the brutish abuse by the present heavier whips can continue. The flogging of a horse in the street, in the same way, would soon have the RSPCA or the police appearing. However this is the top people's sport so it is hands off. The BBC is complicit and encourages this cruelty by the coverage it gives. |EMAIL|denis.watkins1@virgin.net|IP-ADDRESS|86.27.46.250|MODERATIONFLAG|
