VERSION|0.5.1|NAME|Broga|DATE|1359542785|CONTENT|@Thought for the Day and confused: Thanks. I'm a World Service listener and also like New Scientist. A christian acquaintance, of fundamentalist persuasion, accuses (it is the right word) me of puting just as much faith in science e.g. quantum, string theory etc as she does in God. I contend that while I don't understand the science I can see that when it is disproved or replaced by more evidence then a new theory arises.

Her views never change as she "knows" from reading the bible. She things human beings are, in all the cosmos, chosen to be in the image of God and uniquely dear (her word) to him. She says he is male as is proved by the gender of Jesus. She is, of course, a creationist. |EMAIL|denis.watkins1@virgin.net|IP-ADDRESS|86.23.60.56|MODERATIONFLAG|
