Here is the problem in a nutshell (no offense to Catholic thinkers intended). If offense is something that only requires to be taken, and the intent is of no relevance, then there is no limit to the breadth of offensiveness. I can choose to be offended by, just to pick an example, Catholicism, because of its flagrant use of the name &quot;Cath&quot;, who may or may not have been an ex-girfriend of mine. Have they no feelings these people!

Anyway, the comments provide amusement, so not all is lost. I like the way that despite it being pointed out AT THE BEGINNING OF THE THREAD that a Virgin Mary is a non-alcoholic cocktail, the commenters happily continue as if that piece of information never existed. Rebecca even phoned the company to tell them a fact that this thread told her was wrong A WHOLE DAY BEFORE, and then was confused by the silence at the other end (hand-over-phone guffawing, probably).
