This reminds me of one of the times I pressed the logic of one argument while my Mum and me were talking about the afterlife. After years of talking about it I had the feeling that this was one point that I was getting across quite well. You know that feeling you get when you are debating something and you can feel that you have made your argument well. Anyway, I had to back straight off as her stress levels suddenly shot up and she threw a cup across the room.

I was younger back then, but it was my first real instance of the stress people feel when these things are pressed. I don't think we should stop talking about it, but it made me realise that slow and steady is the path; and to be very sensitive during conversations to tactically avoid barriers coming up and people retreating. Push too hard and they fall away, which is not to the advantage of any debater etc....|EMAIL|gryphaea@yahoo.co.uk|IP-ADDRESS|31.121.242.228|MODERATIONFLAG|
