This line of St Paul isnt about abolishing slavery any more than it is about abolishing Greekness and femaleness. It is only saying that eventually god will treat you the same no matter what you were in life. Meanwhile, shut up and get on with it.

Longley represents the very worst of religious thinkers, because it is clear in everything he says that the conclusion is fixed before the thought process starts. If he gets to a partial conclusion that affirms his belief, he stops thnking. He is the reason why TFTD should be subject to a question or two, to dislodge him from his comfortable ignorance.
