I&#039;m not sure that poverty can be blamed for the prevelance of poor quality foodstuffs. I would be more inclined to blame ignorance and laziness. Cooking isn&#039;t rocket science, recipe books are cheap and recipes are available free from the internet. Home cooked meals are generally cheaper, so anyone who is short on cash would surely benefit from not eating ready-meals.

I read that little piece from the Rev. Dr. Jackson and chortled a little. Church people trying to put a positive spin on the latest block of statistics is always good for a laugh. Firstly, he seems to be acknowleging that so called militant secularism is having a real effect. Secondly, he is overlooking the fact that those indifferents are an even bigger problem for him that the secularists are.
