VERSION|0.5.1|SUBJECT|Clifford Longley, a distinguished Catholic gentleman who talks a lot about religion, POTY 2012 |CONTENT|Rating 4 out of 5 (Highly platitudinous)

There are two ways to view the Catholic Church. The first, as an army of crazy, dogmatic psychopaths who think they are unquestionably right about everything and would really like to go back to the good old days where heretics could be burned at the stake. The second, as an army of crazy, dogmatic psychopaths who can take or leave the burning at the stake bit.

The Second Pointy Hat Council was very much in the latter category. This more progressive wing of the Church, where burning at the stake is seen as entirely optional, has been somewhat in decline in recent years. The last two Popes, infallible and fantastic as they were, were very keen on everyone doing what they told them. The strain of not being able to burn heretics at the stake has finally taken its toll on the latest one who has had to give up.

The more conservative and the more progressive armies of crazy, dogmatic psychopaths will debate one another among the college of cardinals as they elect the new Pope. The big question is, which type of crazy, dogmatic psychopath does the Invisible Magic Friend prefer?
