VERSION|0.5.1|NAME|James|DATE|1364420074|CONTENT|While I was saddened to hear of the Rev Bell's own brush with serious ill health, and wish him nothing but the best, I'm afraid this TFTD was but an anecdote which added nothing to the current debate on the state of the NHS. We've all got a story to tell about the NHS for good or ill, it's just that most of us aren't given a prime time radio platform on which to spin our yarn.

The coda about those who tended to Jesus was predictable but still jarred with the tenor of his preceding comments.

I would far rather have heard the thoughts of, say, one of the bereaved and aggrieved relatives affected by the mistreatment of a loved one at mid Staffs. I'm sorry, Reverend, but their comments would have carried far more weight and been genuinely worth pondering.

I find the Reverend's contributions to Radio 4 exceptionally weak, and I know I am not the only one.
