I'm not sure I'd call a slot at 11pm valuable tbh. By scheduling her in the graveyard slot the BBC have fulfilled part of their obligation to broadcast about faith matters without causing unnecessary irritation to the general public. As much as it might sometimes irritate me, the BBC does have an obligation to cater to all segments of society - there is no religious test in the license fee - so I can bear the occasional outburst from deranged religious-conservatives as long as they do not interrupt my general viewing and as long as our side get an equal look in de temps en temps (note that I don't think this requires an atheist viewpoint in every religious programme as long as there are opportunities for atheist/secularist polemics too). TFTD is another matter as is the craven uncritical coverage of all things to do with the pope, the ABC and the royals.|IP-ADDRESS|62.173.102.59|MODERATIONFLAG|
