What is going on in North Korea? The answer is we just don't know. However, that won't stop me from speculating on potential outcomes that will fill up some time. Maybe it's just rhetoric and they don't really want to fire nukes at the USA. Maybe it's not just rhetoric and they do want to fire nukes at the USA. Or maybe it's just rhetoric and it all gets out of control and everybody fires nukes at everyone else. Like I said, we just don't know.

What we do know is that life for peasants in North Korea can be deeply unpleasant. Some of these are Christians. Ah yes, Christianity!

One of those who brought Christianity to the heathen Koreans was Robert Jermain Thomas. He was martyred at the hands of enraged relatives, revenging the deaths of their loved ones who had been shot by the American gunboat he was on. Despite repeated assurances that they wanted neither their trade nor their religion, Robert Jermain Thomas and the American crew bravely shot anyone who tried to stop them.

Now that South Korea is full of huge, wealthy mega-churches, and Wales is full of small, empty, impoverished Churches, things are the other way around. They now send missionaries and money to Wales, whether Wales wants it or not.

Of course, Christianity is no longer allowed to spread at the point of a gun. Christianity has therefore become a nice, cuddly, fluffy religion that you have nothing to fear from while we remain powerless.

So lucky old South Korea. Thanks to us giving them Christianity, they can now rely on their prayers to the Invisible Magic Friend to save them from North Korea's nukes, that and the missile defence systems of the United States.
