By focusing on the Song of Solomon, and ignoring everything else, it would be easy enough to advance the idea that the OT is an erotic love poem, akin to the Kama Sutra.

As a child, I was told by my parents that the Bible could be used by the unscrupulous, the credulous and the fanatical to prove practically anything.  Many of the supposed proofs contradicted each other.  It was therefore wise to be sceptical of all such claims.  That particular piece of advice is the one RE lesson a child should understand before and above any other.
