I particularly like the tale of the young boy who takes his blind parents on a pilgrimage, is killed by bandits, and leaves them stranded with no will to live. I'd love to give Das my take on it. A deluded youngster, instead of caring for his parents in the surroundings they know, drags them off on a futile journey to appeal to gods that don't exist, gets himself killed for nothing and makes their lives even worse as well.

Lots of babble about GPS too. Well, Das, be careful. It's exactly those processes of scientific enquiry that have led us to wonders such as GPS - which you appear to accept - that also lead us to regard three thousand year-old stories full of supernatural beings and immortal souls as .. well . unlikely.

Dear Beeb, why-oh-why-oh-why can't we cross-examine these dunderheads when they stop spouting?|EMAIL|peter.martin17@btconnect.com|IP-ADDRESS|109.104.102.71|MODERATIONFLAG|
