[blockquote]Young people, will be forced to choose between their conscience and their career, the church leaders write.[/blockquote]

Just like I had to do when choosing teaching as a career, knowing that I would have to take part each day of my working life in a compulsory act of worship, even in a non-church school. Just like teachers today who know that a third of promotion opportunities are in "church" schools and thus only available to Christians or those prepared to fudge the issue. Just like parents up and down the country who face the dilemma of whether to become Fake Christians in order to get their children into a good school ('Good' because of the sneaky underhand methods the C of E and Catholic churches use to achieve back-door selection).

Apologies for the rant but this makes my blood boil. Poor Christians being forced to choose between conscience and a career, just like they've been making vast numbers of people do for years. Welcome to the real world.|IP-ADDRESS|95.149.8.81|MODERATIONFLAG|
