If Catherine Pepinster is so anxious to prevent food waste, then instead of lecturing everyone else about it, she should think about the millions of unplanned pregnancies and the resulting millions of more mouths to feed. She could do something herself to benefit humanity by altering her own mind-set and challenging the Catholic leadership about its ban on the use of artificial methods of contraception. There is too much hypocrisy among Western female Catholics most of whom use or have used contraception themselves yet refuse to help their suffering sisters in the Third World by openly opposing their Churchs teaching on the subject.
