VERSION|0.5.1|NAME|Broga|DATE|1371733270|CONTENT|I think Tom need to do a bit of reading about WW1. He could do worse than begin with some of the poetry. For example, Wilfred Owen's "Anthem for Doomed Youth". The first two lines are:

What passing bells for these who die as cattle?
-Only the monstrous anger of the guns.

Wilfred Owen was killed, in the war, aged 25.

Or he might try Owen's "Dulce et Decorum Est" Some lines of which are:

"If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood
Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs,
Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud
Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues, -"

I am revolted that Butler should be preparing to make the case for his God in the context of so much suffering, so many millions dead, so many crippled. This smug ignoramus need to read some history. |EMAIL|deni.watkins12@btconnect.com|IP-ADDRESS|86.170.197.29|MODERATIONFLAG|
