VERSION|0.5.1|NAME|tim555|DATE|1372499053|CONTENT|@ Thought for the dazed....I think that is a little harsh but willing to accept otherwise. I don't know if Eavis being a quaker is relevant but I think profits etc. go to charitable schemes e.g. drinking water in poor countries. What's wrong with a shindig for the masses anyway? It's years since I have been but I don't think the years when alternative types climbed the wall with their dogs on strings which then crapped all over the site were any better. The only religion on show at Glastonbury is sex, music and drugs as far as I can see. If 'the roots' is the hippie thing then I recollect that that was burdened with a lot of religious claptrap too...all that eastern stuff, hare krishna, the I-ching, tarot, put LSD in the water supply, 'liberate' the burger van etc etc. I am old enough to have been there and seen all that palaver myself first hand and most of it was b*ll*cks (although I didn't think so at the time being too 'cool' ) .|IP-ADDRESS|2.102.154.40|MODERATIONFLAG|
