Alas, if you leave aside the religious (green) claptrap, renewable energy [b]IS[/b] a failed project!

This is almost by definition. If engineers could have made energy cheaply using &#039;renewable&#039; sources, they would have done so before now. At the moment the only way to operate renewable energy is to suppress any competition by legislation, and tax and charge customers through the nose, for a much poorer service.
