Sounds pretty awful. I remember as a child reading the first novel in that series, Out of the Silent Planet, and wondering, what was all that about? I've never been tempted to read any more. There seems to be a rather unimaginative theme in Lewis' writings.

Out of the Silent Planet, first volume in a space trilogy, in which Lewis explores an allegory of Christianity.

Perelandra, second volume in a space trilogy, in which Lewis explores an allegory of Christianity.

That Hideous Strength, third volume in a space trilogy, in which Lewis explores an allegory of Christianity.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, first of series of children's novels, in which Lewis explores an allegory of Christianity.
