Twin A Near the end of the Journey
This looks like a slightly scary diagram. It's really just the same as the previous one, except I've added in the position of twin A.

From B's point of view, A is now 3/5 of a light year away (the same distance as the star was at the start, in it's frame of reference). The time according to B is 3/4 of a year.

Again, we can use the formulas to tell us what A thinks. Twin A still thinks he's at position zero, but a "B" time of 3/4 year looks to twin A as if only 9/20 year has passed.

The paradox seems to be getting worse!

But B hasn't quite finished it's journey yet. One second before it plunges into its fiery doom in the star, B decelerates back into A's frame of reference and everything changes again.
